The cruiser has regained its popularity in recent years, and newly manufactured bicycle cruisers are made of much lighter aluminum. They also have one speed, fat “balloon” tires, a comfortable wide seat, and sometimes fenders or chain covers. Many cruisers come with luggage racks, wicker bicycle baskets or other storage accessories.
